We will gather in the nave on Wednesday, November 12 at 6:30 PM for a time of meditation, stillness, and healing with Rebecca Turk. We will begin our time together by reading a poem, linking the rich meditation of the sound bath with the ongoing Charis Circle meditation.

We know that everyone can benefit from a time of reflection and deep meditation, and all are welcome to participate—and bring a friend to share the experience with.

For the most restful experience, bring your yoga mat, a blanket, and any bolster or pillow you prefer and experience the sound bath resting in Savasana. You may also choose to experience it sitting in the pews, and you’re welcome to bring a cushion or pillow to make you more comfortable.

The November 12 sound bath at Grace is free and open to the community. There is no need to register.

As the seasons shift and November invites us inward, join us for a powerful 2-hour vibrational healing experience of Kundalini Yoga and a deeply restorative Sound Bath. This special gathering is designed to awaken and balance your life force energy through breathwork, gentle movement, and mantra, followed by a full sensory immersion in healing sound frequencies. Together, we’ll release stagnant energy, quiet the mind, and create space for clarity, renewal, and deep inner peace as we prepare for the closing chapter of the year.

This sacred experience begins with a grounding meditation to center your energy, followed by an activating Kundalini yoga practice led by Brett Erickson, accompanied by the healing tones of crystal bowl chakra sounds. We’ll close the journey with a deeply restorative, full-body immersive sound bath led by Rebecca Turk—designed to leave you feeling balanced, uplifted, and renewed.

Brett will lead a gentle flow yoga warm up, then move into a Kundalini yoga set with breathwork and mantras. Kundalini yoga is a practice that moves energy quickly through a combination of breathwork synced with exercises. The Kundalini yoga will help to clear out stagnant energy, as well as rebalance and ground you. Rebecca will play sound healing bowls relating to each chakra for deeper activation as we move through the postures. Appropriate for beginners, and seasoned yogis looking to elevate their practice.

After the yoga practice is complete, sound healer and reiki master Rebecca Turk will take participants on a meditative and healing journey of sound. Unwind and relax with a unique sound bath experience led by a healing practitioner and Reiki Master from SND Bath. This journey of sound incorporates angelic healing sounds which radiate from quartz crystal bowls tuned to your body’s energy system. The process works to move energetic blockages, reduce stress, and promote healing in the body.

You will hear native drums that mimic the cleansing and clearing sound of ocean waves and gentle tones from Koshi chimes tuned specifically to the four elements. You will see calming ocean views that include whale sharks, manta rays, and so much more.

While not required, we suggest bringing an eye mask, yoga mat, as well as a blanket for comfort as participants get cold when their systems slow down during a sound bath.

As the longest day of the year invites us to expand and awaken, come celebrate this radiant turning point with intention, movement, and sound. Join us for a transformative two-hour vibrational healing experience at the beautiful Intown Retreat in Decatur, where we’ll harness the potent energy of the Summer Solstice to realign your chakras and bring harmony to your mind, body, and spirit.

This sacred experience begins with a grounding meditation to center your energy, followed by an activating Kundalini yoga practice led by Brett Erickson, accompanied by the healing tones of crystal bowl chakra sounds. We’ll close the journey with a deeply restorative, full-body immersive sound bath led by Rebecca Turk—designed to leave you feeling balanced, uplifted, and renewed.

Brett will lead a gentle flow yoga warm up to begin. Then, she will teach a Kundalini yoga sequence for giving reverence to and inviting in the Solar energy. The classical Kundalini yoga set will activate the energy along the spinal column through calisthenic type movements paired with rhythmic breathing and mantras.  As the energy moves through the chakra system, Rebecca will play sound healing bowls relating to each chakra for deeper activation. This practice is suitable for both beginners and seasoned yogis, modifications always available.

After the yoga practice is complete, Sound Healer and Reiki Master, Rebecca Turk will take participants on a meditative and healing journey of sound. Summer Solstice marks the peak of light, a powerful turning point that invites us to pause, reflect, and realign. As the longest day of the year, it symbolizes expansion, clarity, and the radiant energy of the sun. Spiritually, it's a time to honor growth, celebrate the light within and around us, and set intentions for the second half of the year.

This heart-centered gathering begins with conscious breathwork, gently opening the body to soften, feel, and receive. We’ll then share ceremonial cacao by Paulina Silva. This plant medicine is known for its heart-opening properties to awaken presence and inner tenderness.

In this expanded space, you’ll be immersed in a full vibrational sound bath led by Sound Healer Rebecca Turk. Quartz crystal bowls tuned to the 7 chakras, native drum rhythms, the cleansing resonance of a Wind Gong, and the elemental tones of Koshi chimes will guide you into deep stillness and energetic harmony.

To close, we gather in a women’s circle to honor the sacred feminine, sharing a ritual of self-love, authentic expression, and presence. This is a space where being seen, heard, and held is celebrated as a powerful act of healing.

As you may know, June 20 is the Summer Solstice, the longest day (or shortest night, depending on which eye you look out of) of the year. To mark this moment, and to have a space for prayer during the summer, Rebecca Turk will return to Grace to offer a Sound Bath.

We will gather in the nave on Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 PM for our time of meditation, stillness, and healing. All are welcome to participate!

For the most restful experience, bring your yoga mat, a blanket, and any bolster or pillow you prefer and experience the sound bath resting in Savasana. You may also choose to experience it sitting in the pews, and you’re welcome to bring a cushion or pillow to make you more comfortable.

The June 18 sound bath at Grace is FREE and open to the community. There is no need to register.
